In my opinion, for that upgrade, you will need more rented and/or direct referrals. Probably for a start it was better to have the Cliquey Employee, and when you get more referrals to have the Manager upgrade. Another thing is that today is your first day, it was better to rent the referral tomorrow, because now you will lose one day. It comes from the rule that you should click minimum 4 ads daily in order to get your referrals commissions.
